Family Fun Evening & AGM - 15th July 2008

Everyone enjoyed fun and games, a BBQ and tombola on a glorious summer evening. The AGM went well too! Suzanne Johnson received her award for 30 years of scouting service from Howard de Silva (acting District Commissioner). Well done Suzanne, and thanks for everything you have done for 1st Owlsmoor as 'acting' GSL and 'acting' Scout Leader over the last few years! Several new Beavers were invested - welcome to them! Thanks to everyone that helped with the organising and running of a very successful evening, and thanks once again to the school for the use of their field. We also made £122 towards our trailer fund! We expect to be able to purchase our trailer soon - watch this space...
